Natural-Wine Garden in Benissa (Alicante)

Back

This project was unique because the clients were particularly interested in winemaking and wine culture.

As a result of this interest and respect for the environment, they became very involved in the plans we were proposing for their garden. The clients used a part of their plot to plant muscat- and giró grapevines (Grenache native to the La Marina region) to make organic “mistela”, traditionally from Benissa and Teulada (Alicante).

Our work focused on removing exotic plants from their garden and framing the muscat vineyard with native plants. We designed a small forest to block views of an industrial area. Around the house, we planted a garden of culinary and aromatic plants.
