Green Box Project Construmat Fair 2009, Barcelona

The architect Luis de Garrido asked us to help with this project. Because of the pioneering nature of the project, we viewed it as a professional challenge.

The project combined innovation and environment, making it especially attractive for us. 

We showed it to the public at the Construmat European Fair. It comprised a green roof and a vertical garden representing yin and yang, or the tiger and the dragon, about the balance between nature and construction.

The project was a success because there were loads of people who visited it, despite being avant-garde. It was an example of very understandable architecture. The new use of a roof as a green leisure space was popular with the public and critics.
