Green Roof in Vilamarxant (Valencia)

The Mas de Canicattí Hotel is in a tastefully restored old farmhouse. Using local materials, it combines modern and traditional design.

A few years ago, the owners decided to expand the hotel. The new building was lower than the farmhouse to reduce the impact on the landscape. We decided to cover the new structure with a green roof to integrate it fully into the surrounding agricultural and forest landscape.

We designed and built the green roof, which included a cistern. This project is a broad, engaging project in collaboration with Intemper.
